First Week Album Projections for Tame Impala, Justin Bieber & A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie
Expect big numbers for the three highly-anticipated releases.
The previous week saw the likes of Tame Impala, Justin Bieber and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie release their highly-anticipated albums The Slow Rush, Changes and Artist 2.0 respectively. According to HITS Daily Double, all three are expected to open big in the upcoming Billboard 200 chart, led by Bieber on top.
Forecasts state that Changes will accumulate a total of 270,000 to 320,000 equivalent album units, inclusive of 185,000 to 210,000 in album sales to push the record to No. 1. Following Bieber’s long-awaited record is A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie’s Artist 2.0 supposedly garnering 110,000 to 130,000 equivalent album units with 1,000 to 3,000 in album sales, while Tame Impala’s The Slow Rush is looking at 80,000 to 90,000 equivalent album units with 50,000 to 60,000 in sales.
This week’s chart saw Roddy Ricch return to No. 1 for a fourth nonconsecutive week, along with appearances from Post Malone, Green Day, Billie Eilish, Eminem and Pop Smoke.
