London-based designer Nicholas Daley is set to release his second collaboration with Fred Perry. The two-piece collection sees Daley rework the brand’s iconic barrel bag, as well as bringing in shoemaker George Cox for a three-way take on the brand’s archival monkey boot silhouette.
The barrel bag has been dressed in a “Tan” and “Port” colorway to reference Daley’s first apparel collaboration with Fred Perry. The bag also features a tipped cotton canvas webbing in burgundy, ecru and mustard for its strap, as well as dual branding designed by illustrator Gaurab Thakali.
The second piece in the collection is an update version of George Cox’s monkey boot. The silhouette has been reworked into two colorways — “Curry” and “Ginger” — both of which are constructed from suede, rather than the classic leather. The designs are then finished with double stitch details, black leather sockliners and contrasting trims.
The full Nicholas Daley x Fred Perry collection is available now from Fred Perry stores and online.
