From ‘Stranger Things’ producers and ‘It’ stars.
Netflix has just released the official trailer for its upcoming TV series I Am Not Okay With This. Adapted from a graphic novel by Charles Forsman, the show is a coming-of-age comedy series headed by the producers of Stranger Things as well as Director Jonathan Entwistle, while Sophia Lillis and Wyatt Oleff from IT will be starring in the show.
The series centers around a teenager named Sydney who struggles with the changing dynamics of her group of friends, her boy crush and her life in a small town. But as she goes through this anxious stage of her life, Sydney slowly starts to uncover her untapped superpowers amidst her changing hormones. At the start of the trailer, Sydney is seen covered in blood running away from the police, offering a small glimpse at some of the struggles that come with her superpowers — it also provides a taste of the style of mystery-comedy the show is steeped in.
