Junya Watanabe MAN & Reigning Champ Craft Terry Zip Hoodie for Spring

Off the heels of last month’s Fall/Winter 2020 Paris Fashion Week presentation, Junya Watanabe MAN has returned with a new project, teaming up with Vancouver-based label Reigning Champ this time for a set of finely crafted terry fleece zip-up hoodies. Featured is a reimagined take on Reigning Champ’s signature Midweight Terry Full Zip Hoodie, tweaked with a nuanced deconstructed twist inspired by a traditional drizzler jacket.
Coming in “Heather Gray,” “Khaki” and “Black,” the hoodie sees a semi-relaxed fit with a construction that incorporates rich cotton twill and supple Japanese terry paneling. It boasts raglan sleeves, separating the terry fleece panels at the hood and arms from the twill body. Embellishing the center of the garment is a silver-toned riri zip closure, contrasted by traditional button-flap pockets at the waist. Each colorway boasts Reigning Champ’s signature cotton drawstrings at the hood, while tonal flatlock stitching around the arms rounds up the details of the collaborative silhouette.
