Run Waves With the adidas EQT Solution in "Grey Two/Signal Coral"

Grey, neon, orange — it’s all there.

adidas releases its latest EQT Solution colorway, one that is strikingly similar to the highly popular YEEZY BOOST 700 “Wave Runner” from 2018.

The Solution shown here highlights a few elements from the Kanye West-developed chunky sneaker almost to the shade — a light grey upper is accented by pops of neon on the laces and splashes of green. Besides the oversized chassis and raised midsole, the most same-same-but-different design cue comes in the orange splotches, acting as color highlights much like the Wave Runner had. The only difference lies in the batch of three as compared to the YEEZY’s two. Subtle Three Stripes branding is also found around the shoe — atop near the laces, in a triangle close to the tongue, as well as forward on the midsole near the toe.

Should these EQT Solutions be up your alley, they are available now at stockists such as Foot Patrol for £90 GBP (approximately $117 USD). If you like the silhouette but aren’t too into the colorway, check out the more subdued “White/Dark Blue/Solar Yellow” EQT Solution from December.
