G-SHOCK Toughens up DW-5600 and GA-2000 Models With "Utility" Colorways
Upgraded with special colors and tweaked designs.
Always keen to update tradition, G-SHOCK has remixed a variety of its classic silhouettes with functional colors as part of the “Utility” pack. Inspired by the concept of essential utilitarian function, one that relates naturally to the watch brand’s signature “toughness,” a slew of elevated timepieces enjoy special colorways and cutting edge construction.
The DW-5600 has been transformed into a few different models, including the DW-5610SUS-5JR and DW-5610SU-8JF, each with different touches. For instance, the 8JF replaces the familiar one-piece bezel with a double-layered bezel, with each layer sporting slightly different hues. Various GA-2100 watches have also been upgraded with subtle tweaks, like the GA-2100SU-1AJF (camouflage bezel) and GA-2110SU-3AJF (dual-layer bezel, slimmed-down case and design). Further still, the DW-5610SUS-5JR boasts a camouflage bezel and a replacement urethane band, allowing the wearer to swap out the included cloth strap.
