WarnerMedia has released the first advertisement spot for its upcoming HBO Max streaming service, which is expected to arrive this May with a slew of Warner Bros. and recently purchased IPs. In the teaser above, we are reminded of the high-demand properties Warner will provide, including titles like Joker, The Matrix, Batman Begins, and the like. Shows like Game of Thrones, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and Euphoria are also shown.

However, we also see a ton of titles from New Line, CNN, TNT, TBS, Turner Classic Movies, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, Crunchyroll, Looney Tunes and more. The footage starts out with one of the more lucrative titles for streaming, Friends, which HBO Max was able to secure after its contract with Netflix ended. It will also be the sole streaming service to provide films from Studio Ghibli.

Although HBO Max will debut with 10,000 hours of curated content anticipated at launch, it will also be in the market to create a robust slate of original content with its newly formed production arm.

The streaming service launches in May 2020 and will be available to US customers for $14.99 USD a month. Check out everything else you need to know about the upcoming streaming service.
