The first trailer for Netflix‘s third season of Castlevania anime has arrived, showcasing the next threat after the fall of Dracula in the previous season. In the trailer above, we see a new age of vampirism rise, including Dracula’s son Alucard. As a result, a war between vampires and humans is inbound.

The official synopsis for season 3 reads, “Trevor Belmont, last survivor of his house, is no longer alone, and he and his misfit comrades race to find a way to save humanity from extinction at the hands of the grief-maddened Dracula and his sinister vampire war council.” Several new characters will join the fold this season, but the eternal Dracula is speculated to return due to his presence in the games and his penchant of returning to the living.

Check out the 10-episode third season of Castlevania when it arrives on Netflix March 5.
