Watch Nico Rosberg Race Ferrari's One-Seater $1.9M USD Monza SP1 at Maranello
Putting the one-of-499 hypercar and its 809 BHP to good use.
Ex-Formula 1 Mercedes-AMG racing driver and 2016 World Championship winner Nico Rosberg has headed to Ferrari‘s Maranello headquarters to test drive the Monza SP1.
The Ferrari Monza SP1 is a one-seat hypercar that was produced in quantities of just 499 copies. When it released in 2018 — and arguably still till this day — the Monza SP1 became one of Ferrari’s most daring, beautiful and fastest production cars of all time. It packs a 6.5-liter V12 engine that makes 809 BHP and 530 lb-ft of torque, propelling the car fro 0-60 MPH in just 2.9 seconds and all the way onto a top speed around the 200 MPH mark.
Each Ferrari Monza SP1 costs $1,877,000 USD, according to Rosberg’s video. From the get-go, the ex-Formula 1 driver notes the “aggressive” power delivery from the hypercar, before going around Ferrari’s Maranello test track flat out to stretch its legs. Watch the full video above, where you can see Rosberg get up-close with the Ferrari 250 LM, P80/C, F40, Enzo, LaFerrari, Ferrari’s World Championship F1 cars, and many more, as well as driving the aforementioned Monza SP1.
