Karrimor Japan Offers Maximum Utility With Colorful SS20 Collection
Outdoor-ready essentials.

As a follow up to its snowy Fall/Winter 2019 visuals, Karrimor Japan has unveiled its SS20 range, highlighting an assemblage of outdoor-friendly essentials in a new lookbook. Spanning functional silhouettes like long parkas, waterproof zip-ups, hiking backpacks, breathable nylon trousers and other casual staples such as coats, jackets, cotton hoodies, logo tees and crewnecks, each piece in the collection has been designed through a utilitarian lens.
One noteworthy piece is a checkered navy parka jacket. The jacket’s overall look is mainly muted, constructed with a boxy fit and faint checkered prints to give it a casual feel despite its technical edge. It comes with a large storm hood as well as black press-stud buttons along the central closure, chest and waist. Other details like the taped zipper opening, adjustable cuffs and drawstrings at the hood complete the garment’s design.
Another highlight is a long pullover anorak made with a thin breathable nylon shell. The jacket boasts adjustable raised collars, a small zipper compartment at the chest and two flap pockets near the hem. As a finishing note, the piece comes with a subtle cinch-cord at the waist, offering a slight taper to the billowing silhouette. Other pieces like the hi-tech backpacks, packable poncho, bucket hat, nylon shorts and terry-fleece hoodie round up the expansive collection.
