Stone Island Launches SS20 Desert Camouflage Collection
Tactical patterns infused with CORDURA yarn.
After introducing an exclusive camouflage pattern for Browns, Stone Island has rolled out its entire desert camo-inflected capsule for Spring/Summer 2020. Achieved through an intensive craft process, the pattern is emblazoned across a host of covetable lightweight layering pieces.
CORDURA-infused nylon/cotton mouliné informs much of the offering, with garment-dying and multiple layers of printing utilized to create a unique, pastel-like impression. The three-color pigment is bolstered by glossy, raised black polyurethane, set atop specially loomed textiles that feature jacquard prints for long-lasting, embedded graphics. What results is a rich palette of stylized camo, offered in stark red, black, grey and white and washed-out black green or blue, with the dynamic printing process granting crisp, legible texture.
