After spotlighting feminine silhouettes and bold prints in its Fall/Winter 2020 collection at Paris Fashion Week, London-based fashion brand JW Anderson returns with its campaign for the Spring/Summer 2020 season. Shot by renowned photographer and filmmaker Tyler Mitchell, the campaign blends his signature carefree and youthful style with JW Anderson’s playful ethic.
The campaign highlights JW Anderson’s range of unconventional silhouettes — such as knitted sweaters with portions cut out and tailored trench coats with added sleeves — that it previewed in Paris last year. The motifs of “spirited elevation and empowerment on stilts” found in the FW19 collection have evolved into oversized tricycles and other signifiers of British suburban youthfulness.
