$NOT and Maggie Lindemann Ride Around the 'Moon & Stars' in New Video
The Flordia artist makes his big first splash on the scene.
Florida-based rapper $NOT is slowly becoming an emerging artist in 2020, as evident in his new single “Moon & Stars,” featuring up-and-coming pop star Maggie Lindemann. The footage above, directed and edited by @freeomarjones, showcases the two artists riding top-down late night in California before the visuals lift them from the highway hills and into the literal moon and stars.
The track, produced by Tommy Ice, features shifting styles from $NOT and Lindemann, respectively, giving the track a truly mainstream hip hop feel. It also features a sample of Lord Huron’s 2015 song “The Night We Met.” The theme of the track, however, is a romantic gesture to a woman wanting to leave their reality that turns quiet real thanks to the video’s animations. This track serves as a single from $NOT’s upcoming project, - TRAGEDY +, which is slated to arrive “soon,” according to a Tweet from the rapper at the tail-end of last year
