Feng Chen Wang Constructs Transparent Coat in Sleek Blue Silk

Off the heels of its Converse FW19 lookbook, Feng Chen Wang has delivered a refreshing silhouette for the warmer months of the new year. This time around, the designer has created a light see-through coat in blue silk, demonstrating an affinity for incorporating delicate fabrics into its lineup.
Tinged in a light-blue palette, the coat boasts an elongated cut that drapes past the knees. The piece has been masterfully strewn together with tonal stitching and a series of reinforced seams that give the billowing garment its structure. Contrasting the bright tone, the coat’s central closure sees a line of round brass snap buttons placed over a cream-colored ivory strip, complemented by a long zipper closure. Other details like adjustable mid-cinching, deep waist pockets and “FENG CHEN WANG” branding at the back of the collars round up the features of the luxe garment.
