Action Bronson Unveils New Apple Music Show 'Live From the Moon'
Centered around the artist’s rare music collection.
Action Bronson is showing no signs of slowing down. Besides appearing in Scorsese‘s acclaimed The Irishman or working on his food show F*ck, That’s Delicious, the multi-talented Queens-born rapper is gearing up to take on yet another project: a show about his rare music collection.
Dubbed Live From the Moon, the show will be an Apple Music production and will see the rapper as host, reeling through Bronson’s vast music collection. From ’70s Turkish funk to Shanghainese ’80s disco, the rapper will be talking about all the wild obstacles he went through in finding each record. The announcement of the show comes with a short preview that sees a comical back-and-forth between Zane Lowe and Bronson. Towards the end, the rapper showcases a quirky sketch on his iPad that mirrors a real-life painting he has — it offers a glimpse of the show’s format where Bronson shares anecdotes about his adventures via iPad sketches. In a statement, Bronson iterated, “This is a playlist of my journey through life. All the places I’ve been, all the different music we’ve sought and found — this show is all about taking journeys to the f*cking furthest points of humanity.”
