Reebok‘s DMX Trail Shadow has appeared in a new “Bottle Green” colorway. With a bulky, layered style that’s reminiscent of Balenciaga‘s ever-popular Track.2 and a significantly more palatable price point, the DMX Trail Shadow cuts an undeniably striking swath. The “Bottle Green” ramps that up an extra notch, thanks to vivid gradient fade detailing.

Part of the aptly-monikered “Gradient” pack alongside a stark “Black/Scarlet” makeup, this design’s main detail arrives via its bold plastic overlays. Reaching from front to back, these start with a calming green hue on the front before fading into a cool blue on the midfoot and turning back to green on the heel. The mesh-and-synthetic upper the overlays cover offers plenty of detail of its own, thanks to a flat steel gray toebox and a black quarter/heel with gray stripes and a giant Reebok Vector logo. Laces feature flecked detailing and are anchored by eyestays on the aforementioned overlay, with bold rubberized branding on the tongue adding to the rugged look.

Midsoles expand well past the upper’s contours, mixing gray and white foam with Reebok Shear energy return technology in the heel. Using wavy TPU plates in the heel, the Shear setup also offers extra style with more blue and gray details. Traditional rubber outsoles finalize the look.

The Reebok DMX Trail Shadow “Bottle Green” is available now via the Reebok webstore and retailers like END. The MSRP is set at $175 USD.
