Reebok DMX Trail Shadow Receives Stark "Black/Scarlet" Update
Modernizing retro design motifs.

After Reebok delivered bright “Radiant Red” and “California Blue” renditions of its DMX Trail Shadow, a silhouette imbued with a bevy of ’00s design cues. Now Reebok is back with its latest iteration of the shoe, this time with much bolder palettes in mind — “Black/Scarlet.”
Comprised of a mix of mesh, rubber and nylon fabrics, the sneaker embraces technical uppers that modernize the silhouette’s retro aesthetics. Starting at the top of the sneaker, Reebok’s “Premier” branding is stamped at the tongue, followed by round monochromatic laces that cover the forefoot. Contrasting its gray mesh textiles, found at the tongue and toebox, the sidewalls boast sleek rubber overlays set atop a durable ballistic body embellished with stark purple-red gradients. Accented against the colorful uppers, Reebok’s logo is placed at the mid-section, while black leather panels appear along the rear quarter and toe cap. All of these details sit above a well-cushioned midsole, equipped with DMX Shear technology for maximum comfort and support.
The Reebok DMX Trail Shadow “Black/Scarlet” will be available at Overkill’s website on January 31, 6 p.m. EST for $198 USD.
