1017 ALYX 9SM Drops Black Croc Leather Dress Shoes

Last month, Matthew M Williams’ 1017 ALYX 9SM dropped a pair of St. Marks loafers tinged in sleek black croc-leather. The label has returned with its latest SS20 footwear piece, this time giving a different silhouette to the lavish croc makeover — Croc Leather Dress Shoes.
Crafted in Italy, these particular shoes feature fully tonal black uppers that have been embellished with textured croc patterns that gradually smooth out towards the toe area. The top of the shoe sees thin collars, complemented by round laces and a sleek upper quarter. Besides the opulent leather treatments, the shoe comes with thin single-stitch seams throughout the body to elevate its understated look. Starting from the throatline, the croc pattern seamlessly transitions to a smooth finish around the toebox to accentuate its rounded edge. All of these details sit atop a black midsole that’s supported by a 30mm stacked block heel.
