Earlier this week, Joe Rogan announced that all upcoming planned recordings, which include the anticipated Friday appearance from Kanye West, on The Joe Rogan Experience were canceled. But taking to Instagram once again, the comedian, UFC commentator and podcast host revealed that they were able to make the episode happen.

The initial string of cancellations came after beloved JRE producer Young Jamie tested positive for COVID-19. Although Rogan and other staff members of the podcast have since tested negative, Rogan noted he would shut down operations until he was given the go-ahead to resume.

In his Instagram post, Rogan notes that they were able to make it happen and revealed the release time for the episode. Adding, “Beyond my expectations, and I think people are going to have a much better understanding and appreciation of how this man thinks. I really enjoyed talking to him, and we had a lot of fun.”

Catch Kanye West’s appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience when the episode releases exclusively on Spotify October 24, 1 p.m. EDT.
