The Weeknd Delivers a Dark Comedy Fueled Visual for "Too Late"
Serving as a direct sequel to his “In Your Eyes” music video.
Continuing his cinematic leaning, The Weeknd has returned with a visual for “Too Late” off of his wildly successful After Hours album.
Serving as a direct sequel to his “In Your Eyes” music video, the dark comedy fueled visual starts with two bandaged women discussing their recent surgeries as they drive through the hills. Directed by Cliqua, the two annoyingly come across The Weeknd’s decapitated head, instantly becoming infatuated they bring his head home with them.
Through a montage of “good times,” the two hire a male that they end up killing to serve as the host body for The Weeknd’s head. Revealing their necrophiliac plans, the music video ends with a long shot panning out as the gates to the mansion close in a piece of interesting commentary on the perceived Hollywood celebrity lifestyle.
