ACRONYM Re-Engineers Original J1B-GT Jacket and More for Upcoming Season
Premium materials such as GORE-TEX, Babyllama Air Jet Wool and Cashllama have been used throughout.
Errolson Hugh‘s seminal label ACRONYM is readying for the colder months ahead, unveiling its latest series of jackets, sweaters, gaiters and accessories.
Most notably, ACRONYM has remastered the J1B-GT — otherwise referred to as the 3L GORE-TEX Pro Interops Jacket. In true ACRONYM style, the J1B-GT features a whole host of tricks up its sleeves, being able to convert into a sling jacket or be worn in various ways thanks to elements such as a removable hood, convertible collar storm flaps, dual front zips with a unique fastening system, and more. The jacket even features ACRONYM Sound Forcelock, which as the picture shows can hold something such as a pair of Apple AirPods in place on your neck.
Elsewhere, the future-forward label presents the 2L GORE-TEX Infinium™ Windstopper® Rider Jacket. This is more than just your average flight jacket-inspired piece, of course. It features precisely engineered gussets and sleeves for optimum mobility, while the center front storm flaps have also been re-engineered to enable multiple wearing styles.
There’s also the Cashllama Long Sleeve Zip Shirt Jacket, which is part jumper and part jacket thanks to its unique “floating yarn” knitwear design. For more authentic knitwear, ACRONYM offers the Hand-Knit Air Jet Crewneck Sweater, which is built to the specifications of the brand’s Babyllama Air Jet Wool construction — essentially, loose hollow-core Babyllama fibers are injected into a tubular nylon yarn to create insulation that’s beyond the piece’s weight.
Rounding out ACRONYM’s new seasonal delivery is a range of hand and neck gaiters, once more made from exquisite materials such as Suri alpaca, merino sheep, and nylon fibers for the HG1-PU hand and neck gaiters.
