Summary

House of Errors has built its most detailed capsule yet around paint splatters rendered entirely in embroidery

The lead jacket carries 1,500,000 individual stitches while the matching carpenter jeans hold 1,150,000

A hoodie, two caps, two knitted rugbys and a tee complete the eight-piece lineup

House of Errors has released The Paint Collection, a Fall/Winter 2026 capsule in which every paint splatter is stitched rather than printed or dyed. The London label has scaled up a concept it first tested on a single hero piece from its 6 Year Anniversary collection, expanding it into a full run of garments where the artwork exists as thread.

The Embroidered Paint Workwear Jacket sets the benchmark at 1,500,000 individual stitches. Beyond the embroidery, it runs a brown corduroy collar, a YKK zip and bespoke hardware developed for the capsule. The Embroidered Carpenter Jeans follow with 1,150,000 threads and the same custom hardware, putting both halves of the set above a million stitches apiece.

The detail work does not stop at the splatter itself. Each paint colour is embroidered with its own contrasting pattern, worked at a scale that only becomes legible when the garment is viewed up close. From a distance the effect reads as a single splash; step closer and the surface breaks into separate textures, which is where the capsule makes its case for embroidery over a printed alternative.

Around the two-piece set, the range extends to an Embroidered Paint Hoodie in Grey, two Vintage Paint Caps, a pair of Knitted Wall Paint Rugbys in Cream and Grey, and a Paint Splatter Tee.

The Paint Collection is available now via House of Errors.
