Releasing in time for Chinese New Year, the collection introduces exclusive ready-to-wear, bags, footwear and accessories for men and women. The collection draws heavily from the color association and use of red, reimagining its iconic triangle logo in the bright hue to reflect luck, prosperity and happiness and adding the color prominently to pieces such as bags, phone cases and glasses.
Elsewhere we see bright red sneakers, technical Prada side bags and totes finished with the aforementioned Chinese New Year-inspired triangle logo, and numerous pieces sporting flower and bird motifs. All of this is captured in the campaign “Coming Home,” which sees Chun Jin reconnect with her family in her home town for one of the most important times of the year. While at home, Jin revisits many childhood memories, which Prada refers to as a “physical journey itself” as it “is a way to underline the importance of sharing unforgettable moments and gifts with the beloved ones.”
