New Balance's X-Racer Gets Doused in "Steel/Silver" Colorway
The retro-tinged take is yours for $90 USD.

Since introducing its X-Racer silhouette last Summer, New Balance has continued to bolster the new silhouette by infusing it with timeless ‘90s-styled colorways. After just unveiling a collaborative “Year of the Rat” iteration alongside Shoe Palace, New Balance has now returned with a brand new “Steel/Silver” colorway that continues with retro nods.
Boasting a low-top paneled mesh upper, the shoe features grained faux-leather in gray and silver-tone throughout. The lace-up closure comes in a matching gray, spritzed with vibrant yellow highlights. More detailing can be found in the orange printed “N” logo at the tongue, whereby more orange hits can be found in the medial and lateral “New Balance” branding at the welt. The brand’s iconic “N” logo has been printed in orange and yellow gradient, with the shoe finished with an ABZORB foam rubber midsole in white atop a treaded rubber outsole in yellow and orange.
