Jordan 6 Rings SE Shines in "Metallic Silver"
The shimmering upper is composed entirely of hi-vis reflective material.

Jordan Brand‘s 6 Rings has released in a “Metallic Silver” colorway, complete with a shimmering swath of reflective detailing. One of the first — and still one of the most popular — hybrid styles from the Jumpman, the 6 Rings combines elements from the 7 shoes Michael Jordan captured his half-dozen NBA Championships in: the Air Jordan 6, Air Jordan 7, Air Jordan 8, Air Jordan 11, Air Jordan 12, Air Jordan 13 and Air Jordan 14. This specific pair takes its first-place aspirations even further with an ethos similar to Spring 2019’s “Reflections of a Champion” pack.
Uppers present a tonal grey layered look, with a wavy AJ11-style mudguard sitting over a ballistic nylon upper. The AJ8 is brought into the fold by way of the Velcro straps and steel grey chenille tongue badge, while “TWO3” runs down the throat in AJ12 style and a small Jumpman appears above the toebox for a nod to the AJ14. The heel tab and branding is all AJ6, with the layered steel grey sockliner drawing from the AJ7.
Signature details go up the most when the lights go down however, thanks to a full hi-vis reflective material construction. Of note is that most reflective shoes shine brightly even when not under a direct flash, but this 6 Rings errs more towards the subtle side of the spectrum thanks to its resting flat grey hue. Down below, the look is completed by a dark grey AJ13 midsole and icy blue outsole.
The Jordan 6 Rings “Metallic Silver” is available now in select sizes on the Nike webstore, with a MSRP of $170 USD.
Elsewhere in the world of the Jumpman, the Air Jordan 1 Hi ‘85 is reportedly limited to a mere 23,000 units.
