Griselda Premieres Hype Williams-Directed "Dr. Bird's" Music Video
Featuring a lime green Tesla Truck and plenty of Off-White™.
Griselda ushered in 2020 with their A Griselda New Year interview special featuring Elliott Wilson of Rap Radar. Benny The Butcher, Conway The Machine and Westside Gunn talked about the rollout of multiple projects last year culminating in the crew’s first collective release under Shady Records in WWCD. Now Buffalo’s finest return for the Hype Williams-directed “Dr. Bird’s”, a stark black and white visual contrasted with paint splatters, a lime green Tesla Truck and animated pastel Smith & Wesson options.
Westside Gunn’s all-caps, “Have Virgil write brick on my brick!” chorus is accentuated by plenty of actual Off-White™ pieces throughout while Hype Williams adds some literal wrapped up bricks with “BRICK” scribed on them rotating in the background. It’s a simple and effective video offering that lets the Griselda members exude their larger than life personalities with a major label budget.
