Netflix Trailer for 'Locke & Key' Sees Joe Hill's Graphic Novel Come to Life
The series is set to premiere February 7.
An adaptation of Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodríguez’s graphic novel Locke & Key has been trying to get off the ground for years now, and finally, the first trailer for the Netflix series has arrived. The IDW Publishing series of books ran from 2008-2013 with a few one-issues launched sometime after, and like the trailer above, the series focuses on the titular Locke family following the murder of their father.
The mother and her children move into the family estate, known as the “Keyhouse” to the residents in town. When they arrive, however, the children find magical keys throughout the grounds that hold the ability to unlock special powers. However, it appears there’s an evil entity locked behind whatever these keys open that wants the keys for its own malicious agenda.
Locke & Key stars Darby Stanchfield as Nina Locke, Jackson Robert Scott as Bode Locke, Connor Jessup as Tyler Locke, Emilia Jones as Kinsey Locke, and Laysla De Oliveira as Dodge.
Check out the trailer above and catch Locke & Key when it arrives February 7 on Netflix.
In other entertainment news, AMC is airing a Breaking Bad marathon ahead of the television premiere of El Camino and Better Call Saul season 5.
