BAPE's City-Exclusive T-Shirt Line Honors Four Fashion Capitals
Including Tokyo, New York, Los Angeles and Hong Kong.
Fashion capitals Hong Kong, New York, Los Angeles and Tokyo are being honored this weekend as streetwear stalwart BAPE readies a collection of graphic T-shirts celebrating the four aforementioned cities.
Each range of tees will feature special graphics representing its respective city. For New York, a purple and white Ape Head insignia is spotlighted on the left chest, while three different graphic options can be found on the back. The first one depicts the Ape Head fashioned as the Statue of Liberty, the second sees Baby Milo climbing over the city’s landmarks including the Empire State building, and finally the last graphic is an Ape Head with a “New York” speech bubble. Los Angeles graphics include Baby Milo cruising past LA’s signature city sign in a low rider.
Over to Hong Kong and Japan, similar options feature a large Baby Milo laying behind Hong Kong‘s skyline, while Japan features classic designs from the label’s lauded past such as ABC CAMO prints.
Interested readers will be able to pick up the graphic T-shirts exclusively at BAPE stores located in each region starting this Saturday, January 11.
