1017 ALYX 9SM Links up With Bang & Olufsen for Beoplay E8 2.0 Earphones
Mixing technical features with industrial-inspired design.
Bang & Olufsen has partnered with 1017 ALYX 9SM for a new take on its wireless Beoplay E8 2.0 earphones. The new collaboration mixes the Danish audio specialist’s technology — including wireless listening and charging — with Matthew M. Williams’ industrial-inspired designs.
Other technical aspects include intuitive touch controls, transparency mode and an omnidirectional microphone. Arguably the stand-out element of the collaboration is the co-branded leather and aluminum wireless charging case, which can provide up to 16 hours of playback. One earphone is also finished with a repeated “A” pattern, while the metal element of the case also features 1017 ALYX 9SM branding.
