Drake & Future Offer More Previews of a New Single & Music Video (UPDATE)
Is the follow-up to 2015’s ‘What a Time to Be Alive’ almost here?

UPDATE (January 8, 2020): Just days after Drake and Future potentially teased a new single and video, the famed What a Time to Be Alive duo is back with new previews of what’s to come, and it looks like the sequel to the acclaimed 2015 project might be coming sooner than later.
In a new clip from Future, which may or may not be previewing the initially teased “Life Is Good” cut, you can hear Drake rapping “Virgil got the Patek on my wrist doing front flips” over a trap-like instrumental. On top of the song tease, a newly revealed behind-the-scenes clip from a presumed music video is equally making rounds on the web, showcasing both rappers in what looks to be an information technology center fidgeting with various hardware. The clip seems drastically different from the initial music video preview that teased the two at a makeshift fast food restaurant serving up goods.

Could the sequel to What a Time to Be Alive be around the corner? Let us know below.
ORIGINAL STORY (January 6, 2020): Just weeks after the collaborative duo were spotted alongside 21 Savage and Mustard cooking up a potential music video, OVO frontman Drake recently teased something with Future titled “Life Is Good” on his Instagram Stories. Future went on to add the same post to his own stories, which included a video still with a timestamp, potentially revealing the duo’s forthcoming single and music video. Whether or not this points to the forthcoming sequel to 2015’s What a Time to Be Alive or if its just a standalone release has yet to be revealed.
The news follows a year of teasing from Drake, including Freebandz in-house producer ATL Jacob stoking the fire by sharing a video that showcased dozens of audio files titled “FUT X DRA” last May, just a month after the Toronto native said that the project was “already cooked up.” Since WATTBA, Drake and Future have seldom worked alongside each other in an official manner, teaming up for “Used to This,” “100it Racks,” and “Grammys.”
