Cav Empt Bolsters Spring-Ready Layers in Second SS20 Drop
Jackets, hoodies, crewnecks, and more.
Just last week Sk8thing and Toby Feltwell’s riotous Japanese streetwear imprint Cav Empt delivered its Spring/Summer 2020 lookbook, continuing to exude its characteristically bold graphics and utilitarian layers. They followed that up just days later with the release of the season’s first drop, now returning once again with the second installment of the range. Continuing to bolster its light layering options, this week’s drop features a variety of jackets, sweats, a long sleeve, and a pair of denim.
The highlight of the week is undoubtedly the Taped Light Hoodie in gray, which features herringbone binding in a beige-pink as well as this season’s Ziggurat Patch on the interior, with elasticated hem and cuffs finishing the wide silhouette. Other unique options include the Source-Output Quilted Zip Jacket, which is offered up in a vibrant green with an all-over graphic showcasing red, blue, black, and more. This piece comes geared with Thinsulate insulation to help in transitioning into the Spring months ahead. Other items this week include the Overdye Chair Crewneck with a silkscreen graphic print on the front, the Public Warm coat in a bio-washed cotton-nylon blend, a flagship-exclusive MD LastSCatter Long Sleeve T-Shirt, and a pair of 13.5oz 1994 Bleached Color Denim in Navy.
