BEAUTY & YOUTH Teams With Vans For Exclusive Bold Ni Colorways
Rich “Lime” and soft “Lilac” iterations of the ’80s silhouette.

After Vans recently let RHUDE and BILLY’s Tokyo reimagine its Bold Ni, the California-based brand has now tapped Japan’s BEAUTY & YOUTH for a duo of takes on the ’80s skate silhouette. Arriving in both a crisp “Lime” and soft “Lilac” colorway, the two-pack of styles puts the United Arrows & Sons‘ sub-label’s signature attention to detail and knack for high quality craftsmanship on full display.
Constructed of soft nubuck, each shoe’s upper presents a single color — either “Lime” or “Lilac.” This simple-yet-effective style brought is together by super-sized white Jazz Stripes that swoop around the midfoot, serving as the eyestays before coming to rest directly above the toebox. The toebox itself then features a T-shaped overlay for extra durability and detail. Footbeds feature Vans’ modern-day UltraCush technology, while the white midsole adds a signature red stamp on its heel. The look is finalized by a classic vulcanized gum outsole.
The BEAUTY & YOUTH Vans Bold Ni is available for pre-order now, exclusively at the BEAUTY & YOUTH webstore. A delivery date of early March is expected, and each pair retails for a tax-included price of ¥11,000 JPY (approximately $100 USD).
If you’re on the hunt for a louder pair of Vans, the Sk8-Hi and Style 36 both recently released in tribal print-adorned makeups.
