Vans Drops Tribal Graphic-Adorned Sk8-Hi 138 SF & Style 36 SF
Complete with premium materials.
Vans has paid homage to tattoo culture and its skateboarding heritage with two tribal design reworks of the Sk8-Hi 138 SF and Style 36 SF.
The Sk8-Hi is made from a mixture of black suede, black leather, cream canvas and black canvas, creating a muted but brave look for the shoe. Its cream mid-panel sections are adorned with an all-over oversized tribal print, which is intersected with a black leather Jazz Stripe. This section is connected to a suede eyestay and heel tab, while black canvas forms the front of the shoe at the toe box and tongue.
Rounding off this pair is a set of cream laces, a black rubber sole unit, and “OFF THE WALL” branding on the tongue. Joining the Sk8-Hi is the Style 36 SF — Vans’ skateboarding-focused, ComfyCush-equipped take on the Old Skool. Here, the imprint adds cream tribal motifs all over the black canvas mid-panels, and finishes off the pair with black suede for the toe box, tongue, eye stay and heel cup. Completing the Style 36 SF is a cream sole unit and a matching rubberized toe guard.
Take a look at the Vans Sk8-Hi 138 SF and Style 36 SF complete with tribal graphics in the gallery above. The high tops retail for $82 USD and the low tops for $75 USD, and can be picked up at stockists such as HBX.
