BBC Ice Cream & Reebok Revamp Answer V With Vibrant OG Colors
Sweet bold hits of teal, purple and yellow.

Last month, we saw Billionaire Boys Club collaborating with Hebru Brantley and adidas Originals for an Art Basel-exclusive Rivalry Hi. Now, Pharrell‘s label is back with another sneaker collaboration, teaming up with Reebok this time for a nostalgic take on the Answer V silhouette reminiscent of the colors of the OG ICECREAM boardflip.
The sneakers come in sweet bold palettes of teal, purple and yellow. Starting at the top, the sneakers boast a bright yellow leather guard that wraps over the uppermost laces and scoops down to the forefoot, spilling over to the sides and transitioning to the midsole at the footbridge. The color is matched by a velcro heel strap at the back, accented against lush suede teal uppers seen just below the collars as well as the toe box. One distinctive detail is a rubber ice cream motif stamped at the rear quarter of the shoe — it rests on a dark purple panel that also appears at the toe cap. All of these details sit atop a muted lavender-toned midsole, complemented by the aforementioned yellow section etched with “DMX,” denoting the sneaker’s essential cushioning technology.
The BBC Ice Cream x Reebok Answer V “Teal/Purple/Yellow” will be available at BBC ICECREAM’s website as well as its NYC Flagship on February 20 for $180 USD.
