Air Jordan 1 Low Releases In "Noble Red"
An elegant new style for the popular low-cut silhouette.
Jordan Brand‘s Air Jordan 1 Low enjoyed a vast surge in popularity over the course of 2019, and it’s set to continue pushing in 2020 with styles like this “Noble Red” makeup. Offering a slightly twisted take on the classic Air Jordan white/red/black color scheme, the “Noble Red” differentiates itself from its predecessors with darker hues and alternate materials, making for a look that’s at once familiar and foreign.
The accents that give the shoe its moniker appear on the overlays, heel and fabric tongue. With a rich hue that’s almost burgundy in nature, these pieces look decidedly more Napa Valley than Chicago Bulls. Of special note is that they’re also a different material than the smooth white leather base panels, proffering a vinyl-like texture for material contrast.
Branded flair is provided by black patent leather midfoot Swooshes, a black ball-and-wings logo embroidered on the heel and a black Jumpman placed on the tongue. A final touch of embellishment arrives via Michael Jordan‘s #23 graphic on the lace keeper, while a white rubber midsole and red outsole finalize the stylings.
The Air Jordan 1 Low “Noble Red” released exclusively in Europe this past December, but it’s now available globally at stockists like Sneakersnstuff for $90 USD.
Jordan Brand also recently put forth an ultra-exclusive Air Jordan 34 Paris, limited to 500 individually numbered pairs.
