GOOPiMADE Releases Utilitarian "LAYERS-03" Collection

For the third installment of its utilitarian apparel collection, titled “LAYERS-03,” GOOPiMADE has infused functional elements into a minimalistic capsule featuring just three core pieces: the Utility Pullover Jacket, the Long Shirt and the Military Pants. The Taiwanese label continues its militaristic aesthetic for 2020 through subdued colors and strategic styling, while utilizing technical materials to enhance the durability of each style.

Layering is highlighted throughout the lookbook, in which the exaggerated shapes of each item are emphasized through billowing silhouettes and elongated hemlines. The 3-Way Utility Pullover Jacket takes the spotlight as a lightweight outerwear option, which comes crafted in a tear-resistant fabric and TEFLON coating to offer water-repellent capabilities. It’s then plastered with pockets inside and out, and finished with the brand’s signature orange label for a small branding cue.

GOOPiMADE furthers its functional message through its Military Pants and Long Shirt, completing the straightforward sensibility of the entire outfit. Constructed cargo-style, the pants feature details like 3D pleat lines, a magnetic closure and the water-resistant TEFLON shell. Meanwhile, the mockneck Long Shirt rounds it all out, featuring four-way stretch, wide tailoring and — for the first time — laser-engraved lettering along the buttons for a unique new touch.
