Taco Bell Officially Has a Vegetarian Menu
And it is available nationwide starting today.

Today Taco Bell has introduced its first-ever vegetarian menu board nationwide, featuring vegetarian-only items certified by the American Vegetarian Association (AVA). The fast-food taco joint will offer two new items, a Black Bean Crunchwrap Supreme and a Black Bean Quesarito, alongside two previously existing options that are vegetarian to make up its new “Vegetarian Favorites” menu.
The move comes in direct response to customers becoming more health-conscious. As such, Taco Bell is planning a new campaign to promote the menu alongside showcasing its new green emblem, which reflects its AVA certification and that it’s the only quick-service chain to receive one in 2015.
The nationwide introduction of the menu comes after a test earlier this year. Noticeably, none of the new items are made with alternative meats from Impossible Foods or Beyond Meat, of which Burger King and KFC have recently partnered up with.
In related food news, McDonald’s may start using an automated voice to take orders at the drive-thru.
You’re never going to look at our menu the same.
