Nirvana Shares Full 'Live and Loud' 1993 Concert on YouTube
Released as a standalone collection for the first time in 26 years.
Full coverage of Nirvana’s 1993 Live and Loud concert is finally on YouTube. The 17-track set, which was also released digitally and on vinyl for the first time, is taken from the band’s December 1993 show at Pier 48 in Seattle. Featuring the touring lineup of the late Kurt Cobain, Krist Novoselic, Dave Grohl and Pat Smear, the performance was in support of Nirvana’s third and final studio album, In Utero, and includes the likes of “All Apologies,” “Heart-Shaped Box” and “Scentless Apprentice.”
The concert was originally broadcasted on MTV, and a live recording was later released for In Utero’s 20th anniversary in 2013. This is the first time Live and Loud has been released as a standalone collection on either streaming platforms or vinyl.
