Take an Official Look at the Nike Air Force 1 High in "Lakers" & "Clippers" Colorways (UPDATE)
In anticipation of the 2019 KIA NBA Tip-Off.
UPDATE (September 24, 2019): Nike has now offered an official look at both the Air Force 1 High “Lakers” and “Clippers” colorways. Check them out in the gallery above.
ORIGINAL STORY (September 4, 2019): With the 2019-2020 NBA season tipping off in less than two months, the league teamed up with Nike to offer team-inspired iterations of the Air Force 1 High. The first two models pay respects to the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers — a rivalry set to reach new heights with LeBron James and Kawhi Leonard going head-to-head on October 22 — arriving in each team’s distinct colors. Crafted with a classic white leather upper, the high-top silhouette features a bold nylon contrast of either purple or blue on the heel, collar and strap. The panel swoosh arrives half-dipped in white and yellow or red, added by repetitive NBA x Nike Sportswear insignias on the tongue and heel tape.
The Nike Air Force 1 High NBA “Lakers” and “Clippers” are both available now at stockists like billys-tokyo.net for approximately $125 USD, and will most likely land stateside on nike.com in the next two months.
