J Balvin & Louis De Guzman Tease Collab for 'SpongeBob SquarePants' 20th Anniversary

J Balvin and Louis De Guzman are cooking up something big for the 20th anniversary of SpongeBob SquarePants. Teasing the upcoming collaboration on their respective Instagram accounts, the reggaeton singer, Nickelodeon cartoon and visual artist/designer shared a short clip of the logo and a first look at what they’ll be offering.
While a majority of the information remains under wraps, a representative for Balvin provided a general overview of the collaboration to Billboard, ”In honor of SpongeBob SquarePants‘ 20th anniversary, Chicago-based visual artist and designer Louis De Guzman joins forces with music superstar and fashion/Pop Art connoisseur J Balvin for a special collaboration of art, apparel, and home goods celebrating the iconic figure’s impact on pop culture over the last two decades.”
