New 'John Wick Hex' Trailer Puts Players in the Shoes of Baba Yaga
Preorder now for $19.99 USD.
A new trailer for the upcoming top-down strategy game John Wick Hex has arrived, showcasing its action-oriented gameplay and its official release date. The visuals above are heavily inspired by comic book-styled art and utilize the same stunt coordinator from the John Wick films, JoJo Eusebio, to ensure the character moves in-game just as well as he does on the big screen.
John Wick Hex combines elements of tactics games like X-COM alongside the fast-paced strategic shooter Superhot. The game uses a timeline to keep track of resource management, as players must use various moves and actions under an allotted time to defeat enemies and avoid being hit in the process. To make the game even more challenging and authentic to the franchise, your ammo supply is limited, meaning players will have to keep track of their shots and even choose the right time to reload their weapons.
Although the title will eventually make its way to other consoles, John Wick Hex will arrive October 8 exclusively on the Epic Games Store for $19.99 USD, which can be preordered starting today.
In other gaming news, Batman is coming to Fortnite.
An honour and a privilege, my friend.

Awesome, thanks for the kind reception folks. I’m gonna go watch a movie and take the evening off. Thanks once again to @TroyBakerVA for joining us on our adventure, and to everyone who’s planning to join us on October 8th. Supporting weird things encourages more weird things.
