'John Wick' Commemorates 10 Years of Groundbreaking Action Cinema With Yearlong Celebration
Featuring special events, anniversary screenings, new experiences and collectible merchandise.
On October 24, 2024, action cinema celebrates a monumental milestone as the John Wick franchise marks its 10th anniversary. Since its debut in 2014, John Wick has transformed from a sleeper hit into a cultural phenomenon, spanning four films and expanding into a vast universe. The franchise has redefined action cinema with its intense choreography, stylish direction, and Keanu Reeves‘ unforgettable performance.
To honor this landmark occasion, Lionsgate has unveiled a yearlong celebration, offering fans a variety of experiences. Starting with theatrical screenings of the original John Wick on November 3 and 6. These showings will include and exclusive preview of Ballerina, the spinoff film featuring Ana de Armas as Eve Macarro.
For an even more immersive experience, Las Vegas’s AREA15 district will host the John Wick Experience, an interactive attraction featuring themed escape rooms and a replica of the iconic Continental Hotel, complete with a signature bar and retail shop. Guests will be able to step into the assassin’s world through high-stakes adventures carefully designed to capture the essence of the franchise. Additionally, Stern Pinball will bring the John Wick universe to arcades worldwide with a new line of machines, featuring narration by Ian McShane and an original score composed by Charlie Benante, delivering the franchise’s signature style and intensity in an exciting, innovative format.
Collectors can also look forward to the release of the 10th Anniversary Titans of Cult SteelBook on November 5. This premium edition will include exclusive artwork, collectibles, and a display stand. Additional merchandise such as action figures, apparel, and limited-edition items will be available through select retailers.
The celebration peaks with Ballerina‘s release on June 6, 2025, following Eve Macarro’s journey through assassin training. The franchise continues expanding with a planned spinoff centered on Donnie Yen’s Caine and the upcoming series John Wick: Under the High Table.
