Currensy Drops New Video for 'Hot August Nights' Opener "Must Admit"
Another new vignette from the NOLA legend.
Last week, Curren$y released a music video for “Never Had,” one of the seven tracks that makes up his most recent EP Hot August Nights. Now, the New Orleans legend is revisiting his Nard & B-produced Hot August Nights project for another new visual in support of one of EP’s highlights. This time round, Curren$y is teaming up with director Yuset Pozo to bring Hot August Nights‘ introductory record, “Must Admit,” to life as a music video.
“Get in my car, I rev my engine (I rev my engine) / I let ‘em hear them, I stay in it (Stay in it) / I got big homies in prison (Got homies in prison) / I think of them when I be dippin’ (When I be dippin’),” Curren$y raps on “Must Admit.” “I like Chevy’s, zone switchers (Zone switchers) / I like Bapestas on my bitches (On my bitches, yeah) / Take my lady out to dinner (Take my lady out to dinner) / We sittin’ in the booth by the window (By the window) / A couple chicks ask for pictures (Ask for pictures) / She so cute with the shit, she ain’t trippin’.”
