Apple Reportedly Updating Mid-Range iPhone SE for 2020 Release
In an effort to retake market share in China & India.

Apple is reportedly planning on updating and relaunching its affordable iPhone SE model next year. There have been frequent rumors that Apple was planning on returning to the model ever since it was scrapped in late 2018, as well as reported plans for a wireless charging version back in January 2018.
The new report, from Nikkei, states that Apple is planning to launch the mid-range model in order to arrest its sales decline in regions including China and India. It will reportedly be similar to the 4.7-inch iPhone 8 that arrived in 2017, and is set to feature an LCD display and a number of components taken from the higher-end models also launching next year. Previous reports have also indicated that it will boast a single-lens rear camera and 128GB of storage.
Keep an eye out for more details about the potential new iPhone before its rumored release in 2020. There is also a chance that the model could be announced at Apple’s upcoming iPhone event.
For more from Apple, the company is reportedly adding sleep tracking to the Apple Watch.
