Berlin-based designer Verena Schepperheyn returns with another collection of unisex wear, labeled “An Evening With Friends.” The concept of SCHEPPERHEYN’s Spring/Summer 2020 collection is to juxtapose different prints using a group of friends gathered from one situation.

Similar to the German brand’s Fall/Winter 2019 collection, “An Evening With Friends” includes short-sleeve button ups, wide-legged cargo pants, workwear jackets and printed scarves. For the new season, SCHEPPERHEYN includes oversized T-shirts and fitted tanks and long sleeves. Emblazoned onto these pieces are collages of photos from the imagined evening. While the collared shirts are released in muted tones, the collection also includes pieces with graphics of food printed all over. A short sleeve shirt and long sleeve pullover feature a purple onion print, blown up so large that the vegetable’s texture transforms into an abstract design. The workwear-meets-streetwear silhouettes turn what could be a real life situation into a playful vision for a brand’s collection.

From August 7 to 9, SCHEPPERHEYN will attend the CIFF in Copenhagen to showcase “An Evening With Friends.” The collection’s release date and prices have not been confirmed yet.
