Future, Young Thug, Gunna and Lil Baby are coming together for a new collaborative project known as Super Slimey 2.

The sequel to Young Thug and Future’s 2017 joint album Super Slimey, Super Slimey 2 was formally announced earlier today via YSL Records’ official Twitter account.

“Super Slimey 2 ???? by @youngthug @1future @lilbaby4PF @1GunnaGunna COMING SOON,” reads a recent tweet from YSL Records’ Twitter account.

The original entry in the Super Slimey series contained 13 tracks, including contributions from Offset, Mike WiLL Made-It, Southside, TM-88, London On Da Track, Richie Souf, Will-A-Fool, Wheezy and Fuse. Although Super Slimey 2 currently doesn’t have a release date, expect the album to hit streaming services before the end of the year.

Notably, Super Slimey 2 collaborators Lil Baby and Gunna linked up for a high-profile, critically-acclaimed collaborative album known as Drip Harder. Released in October of 2018, Drip Harder delivered 13 new records to listeners, with guest-features coming courtesy of Drake, Lil Durk, Young Thug, NAV.

Sitting down with Real 92.3’s Bootleg Kev and DJ Hed earlier this year, Gunna also confirmed plans for a Drip Harder sequel with Lil Baby, Drip Harder 2.

“Of course. This year. That’s a guarantee — we ain’t even playing like that,” Gunna told Bootleg Kev and DJ Hed, speaking to the pair for a February 2019 interview.

We’ll keep you updated as more information concerning Future, Young Thug, Lil Baby and Gunna’s Super Slimey 2 project becomes available.

Last month, Future teamed up with Meek Mill, Doe Boy and Lil Keed for a pair of new singles, “Undefeated” and “100 Shooters.”
