Most recently, Lil Yachty and Tee Grizzley reconnected for the latest single in support of Quality Control’s forthcoming group project Quality Control: Control the Streets Vol. 2. Now, Lil Baby and DaBaby are reuniting for the music video for their own Control the Streets Vol. 2 collaboration and single, “Baby.”

Notably, Lil Baby and DaBaby’s “Baby” record was initially released as part of the original batch of lead singles for Quality Control: Control the Streets Vol. 2. Besides the aforementioned pairing’s collaborative offering, new music from City Girls, DJ Durel and Saweetie was delivered to help promote Quality Control’s upcoming full-length.

“We have so many songs already. Then when it’s time for a project everyone mingles out and makes new stuff,” Lil Baby shared with Billboard last year, opening up about the upcoming entry in Quality Control’s Control the Streets series and sharing some insight into how those projects are put together. “Let’s say we had a deadline to turn something in, we might make a whole new tape a week before and turn that in instead. It’s really how ever the vibe is going.”

You can take a look at Lil Baby and DaBaby’s new music video for “Baby” above. Quality Control’s group album Quality Control: Control the Streets Vol. 2 will see release this Friday, August 16.

Following the release of Control the Streets Vol. 2, Lil Baby is also planning on linking up with Young Thug, Future and Gunna for another high-profile joint drop, Super Slimey 2.
