Cactus Plant Flea Market x Nike Blazer "Sponge" By You Receives Launch Date
A closer look at the texture-rich shoes.
First teased this past weekend, Nike and Cactus Plant Flea Market‘s bespoke Blazer is coming very soon. The Swoosh has introduced official imagery of the much-anticipated silhouette, which will be almost entirely customizable upon release.
Deconstructed edges and a mixed-material tan upper grant a rugged DIY feel to the mid-top, with the asymmetric textiles giving each shoe an extra hit of visual interest. Distinctive quilting, padding and felt touches intentionally give the kicks an unfinished feel, heightening the rough-hewn appeal. Nike’s By You program ensures that each “Sponge” model could be entirely different (Cactus Plant touts “117,649 options”), with independent eye-stay, lace colors and Swooshes available for each shoe.
