Towards the beginning of this month, Ronnie Fieg introduced a new ASICS collaboration known as the ASICS GEL-KAYANO 5 OG “Oasis.” Fieg has put a great deal of energy, effort and creativity into building a strong relationship with ASICS over the years, having collaborated with them on an extensive array of notable sneakers. For their latest jointly-produced piece, ASICS and Fieg are celebrating the long-lasting style of the GEL-KAYANO 5 predecessor — which has been around for over 2o years — and giving consumers another worthy addition to the Summer 2019 footwear rotation.
Constructed using mesh, suede and leather materials, Ronnie Fieg’s ASICS GEL-KAYANO 5 OG “Oasis” is brought to life as a primarily white and grey item, with orange, mint and red streaks and accents adding an extra layer of depth to the shoe’s appearance and overall style.
