ASICS GEL-KAYANO 5 OG "Gray" Gets Accented With Bold Hits of Purple
Reminiscent to adi’s “Frieza” colorway.

Fresh off its Fluorescent Yellow colorway, ASICS is back with its GEL-KAYANO 5 OG but this time with a clean white, silver and purple iteration. Originally produced in 1999, this particular colorway was a creation from ASICS’ EUR division, and is equal parts retro trainer mixed with futuristic styling.
With its panels of silver, white and grey, one can’t help but be reminded of adidas’ past collaboration with Dragon Ball Z, particularly the Frieza colorway. Branding for this colorway arrives coupled with a bold purple hue for contrast and can been seen in the form of an embroidered “asics” name at the ankle, ASICS Tiger style branding at the lateral side, and a classic “a” logo at the tongue. For comfort and support, the sneaker retains its GEL sole unit and Duomax anti-pronation technology.
Those interested can find these over at retailers like SNS and atmos where they retail for a price of €139 EUR (approximately $156 USD).
